Last updated: September 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how FreeCell* (also written FreeCell Asterisk) (“the App”) collects, uses, and stores information.

App: FreeCell* (FreeCell Asterisk)

Developer / legal entity: dbpq (also dbpq Inc.)

Business registration (Korea): 226-56-00915

Operator: dbpq, Saagae-ro 33, Mapo-Gu, Seoul, Korea 04179

The App is operated by dbpq (legal / trade name dbpq Inc.; Korean business registration number 226-56-00915) (“we”, “us”). These identifiers match the Google Play and App Store listings for FreeCell*.

You can play without creating an account. Optional features (sign-in, cloud backup, multiplayer, map sharing, purchases, and crash reports) send limited data as described below. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

1. Information stored on your device

The App stores play data on your device (for example in local storage), including:

Uninstalling the App or clearing app data removes this local information. We cannot recover it.

2. Accounts and sign-in

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive an identity token and create an account identifier. We may store a provider subject ID and, when the provider sends it, an email address. We use this only to keep you signed in, link providers, and attach cloud backup and purchases to your account.

You can delete your account in the App (Profile → Delete account). That removes your account record and account-linked cloud backup, synced play records, and sign-in links on our servers. Store purchases remain with Apple or Google and can be restored after you sign in again. Public map or leaderboard snapshots already written by other players may still show a past display name until overwritten.

3. Optional online features

If you are online and use shared or synced features, the App may send:

4. Permissions

5. Payments (Paddle, App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat)

Website purchases of FreeCell Pro Lifetime and FreeCell+ ticket packs are processed by Paddle, the merchant of record. Paddle receives the billing details needed to take payment, issue a receipt, and handle tax. App Store and Google Play purchases are processed by Apple or Google. RevenueCat receives technical purchase data (for example a transaction identifier and entitlement status) so the App can unlock what you bought. We do not receive your full card number.

If a subscription product is offered in the future, it would renew until you cancel in your store account settings.

6. Crash and diagnostics (Sentry)

If crash reporting is enabled in the build, the App may send technical diagnostics to Sentry (for example device type, app version, and a stack trace) so we can fix bugs. This is not used for advertising.

7. Retention and deletion

Local data is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear app data. Account-linked server data is deleted when you delete your account, except where we must keep a limited record (for example to prevent reuse of a consumed redeem code) or where a public play snapshot is no longer tied to a live account.

For help, use in-app bug report or Support.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). Do not create an account or make purchases for a child except as allowed by your platform’s family tools and local law.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date on this page. Continued use after a material change means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
